How to install CWM Recovery on samsung galaxy s duos GT-S7562

1.You will need samsung drivers, you can get these from Samsung kies (just intall it)

2.Download Appy cwm recovery for s duos

3.Extract The kit, and open Odin, You can get a later version of odin from here. see Image

4.Now Let's go to our device,

5.Turn your device off and boot it in downloading/download mod ( Turn it off, and Hold Vol_Down & Home & Power until you see light coming out from the device ( When you feel it booted ) and then you should see a warning, just ignore it and click Vol_Up ). should be something like image 3.

6.Now connect your android To your pc that has Odin, if done every thing correctly You should see The windows downloading drivers or Odin that printed : Com:****

7.Make sure to Have : Auto Reboot & F. Reset time & Pda Checkedd after you done Step 5 & 6. see image 4

8.Now Click on START in odin

10. You should see a Blue bar in the downloading / Download mod in your device

11. keep watching it, till it finishes

12.When it finishes, Your device has to reboot
13.Remove the Usb from your device, Turn your device off
14.Now you changed Your Stock_Recovery, With CWM_Recovery. Now you want to go to your new recovery, by pressing Vol_Down & Vol_Up & Home & Power release when you see samsung logo. You should see something like image 5 ( Version might be diffrent ).

Note : Your touch won't work here, Move with your Vol_Up / Vol_down and choose with Home button and go back with back button

15. Now i suggest you to make a backup if you have an external Sdcard, if not just skip

16. now choose " Install Zip from sdCard " and Go to Choose zip from Sdcard Or From internal sd Card

Warning! Do this at your own risk! All your phone data (contacts,photos,videos,music,messages,a

­plications,games,files,) will be lost! Please make backup first if you can!
If you forgot your screen lock combination follow these steps.
1.Power off your phone
2.Press together volume up + volume down +home button + power button
3.Release your fingers of the phone when Samsung logo appear
4.Choose with volume buttons "wipe data/factory reset" and select it with power button
5.Choose "yes" with volume buttons and select it with power button
6.Wait untiil format is complete
7.Select "reboot".

But the main problem of Samsung galaxy s duos 2 is That it lags too much because of Android 4.0 Ice scream sandwich . Samsung galaxy s duos comes with a Hd 4.0 inch display and has android 4.0 out of the box ! Still no update has came to this smartphone ! Samsung galaxy s duos has 768 mb of ram and has 4gb internal memory , which can be expanded upto 32gb !

Samsung has no response to the Updated of Samsung galaxy s duos , but the developers are not lagging behind ! They made possible to run android 4.4 Kitkat on Samsung galaxy s duos by a custom rom !

7. Once the GAPPS installation is complete, reboot your phone and wait for the startup screen to appear (This may take up to 20 minutes)

Information regarding flashing:-


This rom is purely based on xxbmd6 and may work on other base just give it a try

I hope you know what you are doing before flashing this rom it may lead to
yellow Triangle appearing on your screen whenever you boot your phone.



Procedure:-

1. Download the HyperX rom.zip from download link provided

2. Push the from zip to the external SD

3. Now switch off your phone

4. Boot it into cwm (key combination:- volume up + volume down + home button + power button) and you are in cwm

5. Wipe data,cache and dalvik cache

6. Now select install zip from SD card

7. Navigate to HyperX Rom.zip and select yes to proceed

8. When installation is completed reboot your device

9. For 1st time it may take some time to boot so be patient

10. When all steps go right you will be on HyperX Rom

Read the Instructions Completely :D
Step 1 :- Download and copy "PMP_U850_GT-S7562.zip" to a sdcard
Step 2 :- Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache. And also wipe battery stats
Step 3 :- Install PMP_U850_GT-S7562.zip from sdcard.
Step 4 :- Follow instructions in Aroma Installer and Reboot
First boot may take time Stay Calm

# Problem #
If you get message for settings stopped then clean install v5.5 first same as mentioned above for v8.5, reboot and set up your phone.

For those who might encounter a bootloop after installing, it's coz of phone specification, just flash a different kernel via download with Odin, and everything should be perfect.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 model to Official Stock Roms

This tutorial shows you how to Flash stock Firmware using Odin on Galaxy S Dous [S7562]

Requirements :--->

1. ODIN 3.07
2. Samsung USB Drivers
3. Stock Firmware
4. Official USB cable
5. Ofcourse Galaxy S Dous Phone

note :-> click on above requirements to download them..

Flashing Tutorial :-->

1. Install usb drivers on pc....
2. reboot ur pc
3. Download the ODIN 3.07 & save it in your PC and extract its content to Desktop.
4. Download the update firmware.zip && save it in your PC and extract the update file on your Desktop.
5. Now, turn off your Samsung Galaxy S duos device
6. Boot your S Duos device into the Download mode by pressing [ Volume down + Menu + power ] buttons on the same time.



7. now ur phone will boot into download mode ........u will see a "WARNING" like following pic.....



8. now press "VOLUME UP" button to enter into download mode :--> like the following pic -->



9. Now open "ODIN 3.07.exe" on desktop & attach ur phone to ur pc using stock usb cable.

10. When the connection is established with odin , u will be notified with the “added” message that will be displayed on the Odin interface, the ID:COM section should be colored on yellow or blue.

11. click on PDA button && select the S7562XXXXXX_S7562XXXXXX_XXXHOME.tar u extracted on desktop [file name may differ ]

12. now click on "START" button & it will take some time to flash the firmware ....

Note:-> DON'T interrupt the flashing process, it may brick ur device [ soft or hard brick]

13. U will see a "PASS" & "RESET" on ODIN application...



14. Ur phone will reboot automatically & u should be booted successfully ....

15. enjoy [ u have flashed stock firmware successfully on ur device ].


F.A.Q :->

1.) If the ODIN get stuck ?
ANS:->
Close the ODIN.
Disconnect your device from the PC by removing the USB cable.
again connect the device with pc.
again open Odin
Repeat the tutorial.

2.) If your device gets a Boot Loop [ boot animation agian & agian ] ?
ANS:->
Reboot device into the Recovery Mode [ VOLUME UP + DOWN + MENU + POWER ]
Perform a “wipe data factory reset” and after that “wipe cache partition”.
Then choose “reboot system now”
